Police are heaving guarding Jayendra [Swamigal] who is staying in Kalavai. Bhakthas are searched.

A great number of bhakthas are coming to meet Jayendrar [Swamigal] from other towns as well as other states. However, bhakths are subject to intense searches. Police make them pass through metal detectors. All bags and articles they bring with them are heavily searched before allowing them through. They refuse to allow cell phones and cameras into the Mutt.

Besides this, on behalf of the Mutt, private security guards have been appointed. They also conduct thorough searches of the bhakths.

It is being said that Jayendrar [Swamigal] has been threatened by terrorists and that is the reason for the heavy police security.
