‘‘In the event of arrest or his surrender before March 10, failing which this order will stand cancelled,’’ the PSJ said, adding that the petitioner should be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for Rs 25,000 with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate-I in Kancheepuram.
The petitioner should report before the investigating officer between 10 a.m. and 12 noon on every Tuesday until further orders.
He should also appear before the IO as and when required and should not attempt to tamper with the witnesses or hamper the investigation , the PSJ added.
While granting bail to the TVS Groupmen, the Madras High Court had referred to the complaint by Madhavan at the earliest point of time.
It stated that he had sustained injury only in a road accident. And a single judge observed : ‘‘I am of the view that this case must be a foisted one or in other words no prima facie case has been made out against the petitioners for refusal of anticipatory bail.’’
