Ravi Subramaniam shifted to Chennai for check-up

KANCHEEPURAM: Ravi Subramaniam, an accused-turned approver in the Sankararaman murder case, was on Tuesday taken to Chennai for intensive check-up following complaint of chest pain.

Subramaniam, hospitalised here on Monday night, was taken to Chennai this afternoon for check-up at the General Hospital there, police said.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police was leading the police team escorting Subramaniam.

Subramaniam, lodged in the sub-jail here since his arrest on December 26, was taken to the local government hospital on Monday after he complained of chest pain and admitted there after preliminary tests.
