Jan. 18: "Police took my signature in blank paper 15 times" complained Sundaresa Iyer in Kanchipuram court on Tuesday.
Police arrested mutt accountant Kaladi Viswanathan on charges of tearing and amending the account books. Court granted permission for Sundaresa Iyer's police custody at the request of the police. Judge Uththamaraj [said]: "[The court] will examine it [ie Sundaresa Iyer's complaint] later. That time, his lawyers Mr. Shanmugam and Mr. Y.Thiagarajan asked the judge to note that ADSP Shakthivel got sample signatures from their client. The Judge made a note of it.
