"Police did not confiscate blood stained shirt, knife from me"

- Prime Accused in Sankararaman's murder


Kanchipuram Jan 18: Ambikapathi, one of the prime accused in Sankararaman's murder case complained in Kanchipuram court that the police did not confiscate blood stained shirt, knife from him

In all, 25 persons including Jayendrar, Vijayendrar, his brother Raghu, muttam manager, Viswanatha Iyer, hirelings leader Appu, Contractor Ravi Subramoniam have been arrested. The hireling leader Appu had been admitted in hospital due to chest pain.
Appu and other prime accused in the case, Kathiravan, Rajini alias Chinna, Ambi alias Ambikapathi, Anil alias Anilkumar, also accused as falsely surrendering, Chenthilkumar & Arumugam were presented in the court on Monday as their custody date was expiring.

Appu was first presented before judge Uttamaraj. He ordered the extension of his custody until the 31st. Then Appu asked for permission to speak to his uncle Chengalvaraya Reddy. He [Judge Uttamaraj] gave permission.

Then Kathiravan,Chinna, Ambikapathi, Anilkumar, Chenthilkumar Arumugam were presented to the court.

Ambikapathi's complaint : At that time, Ambikapathi said, "The Police statement that blood stained shirt, knife and vehicles were confiscated when I was arrested is WRONG. IT IS NOT TRUE."

Judge:You can inform this through your lawyer.This has to be informed only during the trial.

Following this, the judge ordered the extension of all six accused until 31
