Seer case: Two accused get bail

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court has granted bail to Devaraj and Sekar, accused in the Sankararaman murder case.

While Devaraj, accused No. 19, made a fake surrender before the GT Court in Chennai, Sekar, accused No. 22, arranged the fake surrender of four persons in the case.

Justice M Thanikachalam said on Friday that the duo be released on bail on their executing a personal bond for Rs 5,000 each with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Principal Sessions Court in Chengalpattu.

They should appear before that court at 10.30 a.m. on all working days until further orders, the judge added.
