Minister K.C.Mani meets Sri Jayendrar at Kudandhai

Kumbakonam, May 29th: Co-operative Society Minister, K.C.Mani met Kanchi Sri Jayendrar on Sunday afternoon at Kumbakonam.

Kanchi Sankaracharya’s Paduka Pattabhisheka Mahotsava celebrations were held at Kumbakonam for two days on May 27th and 28th. Kanchi Sri Jayendrar arrived at Kumbakonam on May 26th to participate in the celebrations. Minister K.C.Mani and other DMK partymen came from Chennai on Sunday morning and arrived at Sankara Mutt.
They were welcomed there on behalf of the Centennial Mahotsav Committee members Auditors T.S.Venkatasubban, Radhakrishnan, Deepak Ramesh, Balasubramaniam, TAMBRAS district head Vasudevan and the committee’s public spokesperson Krishna Rao.

The minister participated in the Homam events held on the Great Saint’s Paduka Pattabhisheka Mahotsav and then went to Sri Jayendrar’s room to meet him. K.C.Mani offered a shawl to show his respect to Sri Jayendrar. On behalf of the centennial committee, Sri Jayendrar blessed K.C.Mani with shawl and fruits. They were in private conversation for half hour after which K.C.Mani left.
