HC reserves orders reserved on Iyer’s plea

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court has reserved orders on the petitions from Sundaresa Iyer and 10 others challenging their detention under the Goondas Act.

A Division Bench comprising Justice M Karpagavinayagam and Justice C Nagappan reserved the orders on Thursday.

The orders will be pronounced on May 5. On behalf of the State, Supreme Court senior counsel K T Tulsi appeared and defended their detention under the Goondas Act.
