Sankararaman Case Postponed to 27th

Pondicherry April,17: Chief Justice Chinnapandi adjourned the hearing on the Sankararaman murder case to 27th of this month. The hearing on this case was scheduled for yesterday April 17th at the Sessions court in Pondicherry. All of the accused except Sri Jayendrar, Sri Vijayendrar, Sundaresa Iyer, Raghu, Meenakshi Sundaram, Palani and Arumugam were present in the court.

A petition was submitted on behalf of Kadiravan stating, ‘ One of the accused in this case, Anil Kumar is not of sound mind. It is possible that harm would be inflicted on others on his account. Hence, he should be brought up to the meeting separately and cross examined isolatedly also.’ Judge ordered for the submission of Anil Kumar’s medical report.

Judge Chinnapandi adjourned the hearing to 27th when the doctors report would be taken up.
