Bail plea turned down

KANCHEEPURAM: The Chengalpattu Sessions Court today turned down the bail plea of Devaraj, Arun and Sekar - accused in the Kanchi Sankararaman murder case.

Dismissing their peititons, Judge (in-charge) S Vanangamudi said there were sufficient grounds for doing so and added that if let out on bail, they could tamper with evidences.

All the three are fake accused in the murder case and, along with two others, had surrendered before George Town Court, Chennai on October 27, 2004.
