Bail conditions for junior seer relaxed

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Monday relaxed the bail conditions imposed on junior pontiff of Kanchi Mutt Vijayendra Saraswati in connection with the Sankararaman murder case.

Justice M Thanikachalam relaxed the conditions following a petition filed by Vijayendra. The court, while granting him bail in the case on February 10, had directed Vijayendra not to leave Chennai and appear before the Thousand Lights Police every Sunday.
