Sri Sankaracharyas return to Kanchi

Kanchipuram: Kanchi Sankaracharyas had stayed at Kalavai Sankara mutt after being accused in the Sankararaman murder case, arrived at the Kanchi mutt on Sunday.
They will observe the Chaturmasya vrath on 11th of July at Kanchi. Devotees welcomed them with flower garlands and Sankara Gosham. The priests of Sri Kamakshi Amman temple welcomed them with lotus flowers.
This vrath will continue till the 7th of September and both the Sankaracharyas will stay in Kanchi to observe the vrath.
There will be Chandramouliswarer puja and Veda parayanam everyday and musical concerts in the evening. Sri Jayendrar’s 72nd birthday will be observed on August 10th.
