HH Jayendra Saraswati Swamiji inaugurated veda patashala near Palghat (or Palakadu).

HH Jayendra Saraswati Swamiji inagurated the newly constructed Veda Patashala near Palakadu yesterday.

In Ramanathapuram village, near Palakadu, a new veda patashala was constructed at the cost of Rs. 70 lacs. HH Jayendra Saraswati Swamiji inaugurated the same by lighting a Deep. HE mentioned the following in HIS speech.

"Vedas improve the World. They are treasures beyond the time. The next generation should have the knowledge of Vedas and Sanskrit. We need to preserve our culture."

Vice chancellor of Lal Bahadur Sastry Rashtriya Samaskrutha vidhaya Peetam, Delhi, Vajaspathi presided over the function. Many Vedic scholars and students participated in the event.
