Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal appeals for relaxing bail condition

Chennai April 5th:

The Kanchi Junior Acharya Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, who has been given conditional bail by the Chennai High Court, has appealed to the High Court to relax the conditions of his bail.

As per the conditions of the bail, the Junior Acharya must stay within Chennai and is required to appear at the Thousand Lights police station every Sunday. For the last 2 months, the Acharya has stayed in Chennai and has reported at the police station every Sunday.

In this regard, the Junior Acharya has appealed to the Chennai High Court to relax the bail conditions. His appeal is likely to be taken up this Tuesday by the Chennai High Court.
