Kanchi Acharya’s bail condition relaxed in the Madhavan case as well

Chennai: The Bail conditions in the Thirukottiyur Madhavan case has been relaxed by the Chennai sessions court.

The Kanchi Acharya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal had earlier obtained an anticipatory bail in the Madhavan case. As per the bail conditions, the Acharya needed to appear before the police once a week.

Last week, the Acharya petitioned the Chennai sessions Court requesting the Court to relax the bail conditions. When his petition came up for hearing, the session Court Judge Murugaesan ordered the cancellation of the bail condition requiring the Acharya to appear before the police every Saturday.
