Kanchi Mutt warns rumor mongers

The Kanchi Shankara Mutt has strongly warned the rumor mongers who spread rumors and wrong information regarding the health condition of the Acharya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal.

Yesterday, there were rumors that the Acharya is suffering from some health problems. As a result of this, several people from all parts of Tamil Nadu contacted the Kalavai and Kanchi Shankara Mutts.

The administrators of Kalavai Shankara Mutt issued a statement regarding this issue in which they said: “The Acharya’s health condition is perfectly fine. Some rumor mongers are spreading unnecessary rumors about the Acharya’s health. We request the public and devotees not to believe in rumors. The Mutt is hereby strictly warning the rumor mongers. We will take legal action against people who indulge in spreading rumors.”
